About Emotional 2-D Model
A two-dimensional model of emotion was proposed by James A Rusell in 1980 as “A circumplex model of affect”. This paper has been cited in over 10,000 other papers and is highly reliable emotion model.
Russell’s model consists of two axes: “Valence” for positive-negative and “Arousal” for active-inactive.
Various emotions related to joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure are plotted on the two-dimensional plane.
